Implementation of the Health Pillar Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) program has become the main focus and commitment by PT Manambang Muara Enim (PT MME) to communities around the mine. Efforts to resolve health problems were also carried out, one of which was through the Supplementary Food Program (PMT) for ten children suffering from stunting in Lingga Village, Lawang Kidul District. The problem of stunting is one of five national priorities in the health sector, with Indonesia being one of the developing countries that has a high prevalence of stunting. Meanwhile, Lingga Village is the area with the highest rate of stunting sufferers in Lawang Kidul District.
The Supplementary Food Providing Program (PMT) is carried out jointly between Lingga Village Posyandu Cadres and Tanjung Enim Community Health Center with the main function of distributing food and monitoring nutritional development status. The program partnership also involves the Village Guidance Officer (babinsa) from Koramil 404-05 Lawang Kidul to assist in the use of local food as the main raw material in additional food menus. This development and collaboration certainly has the same goal as the government's agenda, including accelerating the reduction of stunting sufferers through the availability of local food.
